Private Blockchain

A private blockchain system is a distributed network that differs significantly from an open public blockchain protocol such as Ethereum or Bitcoin. Private blockchains are frequently governed by a single entity and used by large organizations requiring access management, censorship rights, and privileged privacy models, such as enterprises and governments. While private blockchains are designed to be fast and scalable to meet the needs of the client organization, they are not decentralized or secured by a distributed network.
