Orchid Blockchain Protocol is a peer-to-peer marketplace for virtual private networking (VPN) providers and users that allows any network user to purchase bandwidth from a participating VPN service provider (off-chain and without gas fees or Ethereum network congestion). For users to purchase bandwidth on the Orchid network, a payment mechanism known as a probabilistic nano payment is used, with payments made in Orchid’s native utility token (OXT).
