Ontology Trust Anchor

A Trust Anchor is a qualified third-party trustor who provides authentication services on the Ontology blockchain through a three-tiered mechanism that includes: “verifiers” who verify and rely on trust from the “trustee,” which is entrusted by the “trustor”, and “verifiers” who rely on trust from the trustor (or trust anchor). Each of the three types of constituents collaborates to transparently verify data on ontology, both cryptographically and algorithmically. Trust anchors can be government agencies, universities, banks, third-party authentication service providers, or biometric technology companies, and they are part of Ontology’s multifaceted trust network, which is heavily reliant on multi-source authentication protocols.
