    Network Congestion

    When the speed or quality of a network’s service is reduced due to an excessive volume of transactions, this is referred to as “network congestion.” Congestion can occur when a network experiences an unusual spike in activity that exceeds the capacity of the network, or when certain malicious attacks, such as a distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack, occur.
