An Initial Data Offering (IDO), like an Initial Coin Offering (ICO) or an Initial Public Offering (IPO), refers to the first public listing of a datatoken asset on the Ocean Protocol blockchain. An IDO sells datatokens, which represent datasets and data services on the Ocean Protocol platform, rather than equity or shares.
