Hardware Wallet

A hardware wallet is a non-custodial wallet that is considered a safe way to store cryptocurrency. A hardware wallet, which resembles a USB stick, is typically used offline but connects to an online device via USB or Bluetooth when making transactions. Despite being technically connected to the internet at times, it is still classified as a “cold” or “offline” wallet because transactions are signed “in-device.” This indicates that the transaction was signed offline before being broadcast to the blockchain via the Internet. Malware is unable to sign these transactions or view your keys as a result of this security feature.
