Exchange Coin

Exchange coins are digital assets that are launched on a crypto exchange through an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO), a method of fundraising for crypto companies similar to an Initial Coin Offering (ICO). There are two types of exchange coins: those launched by the exchange as the platform’s native coin or token, and those launched by other crypto companies using the exchange’s token launch infrastructure and services. Tokens (digital assets enabled by an existing blockchain) or coins can be used as exchange assets (digital assets that run on their own blockchain).
