A Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack is a type of digital network attack that attempts to disable a system by flooding it with repeated requests. A DoS attack is a malicious attempt to disrupt normal traffic to a website or other internet property in order to temporarily crash and render the underlying network inoperable.
